Virginia Police Department in Minnesota captured a successful deployment of the BolaWrap® Remote Restraint device on bodycam earlier this month. On November 5, 2020, Virginia PD responded to a subject who had fled during transport while on mental health hold at a hospital. The officer on scene deployed the #BolaWrap and safely restrained the subject without incident. The subject was then transported to a hospital for evaluation.
