His ambition and entrepreneurial spirit pushed him to create his own restaurant where he works side by side with his wife Raja. Moroccan Flavors opened in the Midtown Global Market one year ago and has been a favorite of market goers ever since.

The slow cooked beef tangine, chicken couscous, refreshing mint tea as well as Hassan’s warm smile and attentive customer service has patrons coming back for more. The ambiance makes everyday customers feel like tourists in a Moroccan Oasis. Hassan takes pride in being the first authentic Moroccan restaurant in the Twin Cities and he is excited for the opportunity to bring the flavors and dishes he grew up loving to the City of Lakes.
