Who is Alex? He is a deaf individual who was born into a large deaf family and “overcame” deafness through vigorous signing and rapt attention to the animated signs of other people around him. He went to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and is an alumni of Gallaudet University with a degree in Religious Studies. He has a beautiful wife of seven years, Alexa, and three furry animals. Is he addicted to the light? He is. Does he like moths? He likes moths, but can be startled by them, especially if they fly in his face when he’s near a light bulb. He’s currently metamorphosing into a moth, but the process could take years. Can I invite Alex to present at my function or event? Yes! He is an experienced stage presenter and can deliver a comedy routine, be your event’s MC, discuss deaf topics, or serve as your wedding officiant. Contact him at mothdaily@gmail.com

Deaf Bing is an unique, humorous look at our community and our tendencies. We live in a world that is dependent on sound, so we adapt. It’s funny because it’s true.
